About OutwardStride
OutwardStride was launched in 2024 by Susie Dan - an educator and writer.
Susie isn’t a runner, but does have pronation issues, and wanted to create general educational content for people to learn about pronation, their pronation type and how to manage it in a ‘joined-up’ and integrated way.
The goal is to build a site with information, resources and tips to enable people to identify and manage their pronation so they can be free from discomfort, pain and injury.
It focuses around 3 interrelated areas:
Understanding your own pronation tendency and identifying any specific issues.
Deciding what lifestyle choices are ok for your pronation (and what needs modifying or letting go of).
Learning about suitable footwear for your pronation, and choosing the right ones for different situations.

Launched in 2024 by Susie Clark, who was diagnosed with under pronation or supination, and has been learning how to manage it effectively ever since!
